LAKE. John F., beloved husband of the late Barbara Jean (nee Hamilton)
Lake, devoted father of Lawrence Lake, Jack Lake Jr. and Barbara Lake
Toll, dear grandfather of Jesse, Michelle, Maddie, John III, Adam,
Christopher and Ryan, loving brother of Marcie Murray and Roy Lake. Passed
away on Sunday, February 1st at the age of 90. There will be a gathering
time for friends and family Wednesday, February 4th from 1:30 P.M. until
the time of memorial service at 2 P.M. at the Cedars of Lebanon Chapel
in the Memorial Mausoleum in Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove
Ave. (45223). In addition to being a WWII Veteran, Mr. Lake was also
Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower's body guard and played professional football
from 1933-1934 with the Chicago Cardinals. In lieu of flowers memorial
donations may be directed to the Shriner's Burns Hospital, 3229 Burnet
Ave. (45229- 3095). The Jon Dietloff Funeral Centre has been entrusted
with the arrangements.
