Robbins, 56, of Benton, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. John was born March 2, 1958, a son of the late Norman and Erla (Rider) Robbins, and in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Robbins on April 21, 2005. John was a graduate of Hughesville High School, class of 1976. He presently worked for DelMonte in Limeridge, and previously for Donald Robbins Logging Unityville, Triple J Lumber Muncy Valley, Young Industries Muncy, Jack McClintock Logging Muncy Valley and Integrity Builders Milton. He was an avid outdoors man. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his four grandchildren. He enjoyed working on automobiles and tractors. He enjoyed riding his (go buggy) Kawasaki mule with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Minier) Robbins, they were married on December 19, 1981; daughter, Amy Gray and her husband Jeremy, of Unityville; a son, Jason Robbins and his wife, Lisa, of Benton; four grandchildren, Logan and Parker Robbins and Corbin and Colton Gray; brother, Thomas Robbins, and his wife, Kathy, of Muncy Valley; and a sister-in-law, Tisha Robbins of Benton. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014, at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 # Main St., Millville, with the Rev. James Harvey officiating. Burial will be at the Talmar Cemetery, Benton.
