   John R., age 73, of White Bear Lake, MN, died suddenly Feb. 7, 2000 in
   Phoenix, AZ. He taught H.S. Math in Cloquet, MN, Mahtomedi, MN and
   Lakewood College from its inception until retirement. Preceded in
   death by parents, Gustav and Anna Lake. Survived by his loving wife of
   49 years, Dagny; sons, John & wife, Mamiko, Mpls., MN, Philip & wife,
   Vanessa of Chicago, IL; 4 granddaughters, Katrina, Chelsea, Natalie
   and Naomi. He will be sadly missed by brother, Rollo and
   sister-in-law, Ann; sister, Janet; and many other relatives & friends.
   John and Dagny were members of First Lutheran Church for more than 40
   years. Funeral Service 11 AM Saturday, Feb. 12th at FIRST LUTHERAN
   CHURCH, Hwy 61 & Co Rd F, White Bear Lake, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior
   to service AT CHURCH. Memorials preferred to First Lutheran Church.
