    MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- James V. Lake, 83, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of 
Harrisburg, died monday in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
    He retired as maintenance director from the former Sacred Heart of Jesus 
Catholic Church, Harrisburg; was an Army veteran of World War II; and a 
member of St. Therese Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Memphis, Tenn.
    Surviving is a son, James V. of California.
    Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross 
Cemetery, Swatara Twp., Pa.
    There will be no viewing.
    Neill Funeral Home, Paxtang, is handling arrangements in Pennsylvania.
