John Lake

   JOHN WARK LAKE John Wark Lake, beloved son of the late Alfred and Christina Lake of
   Winnipeg. Born 1920, died November 25, 1999. Played with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers
   from 1939 to 1941. Joined the R.C.A.F. and served four years in England. On return
   settled in Toronto, Ontario until his death. Survived by sisters Gertrude (Ernest)
   and Margaret. Brothers Wilfred (Jan) and Fred. Also many cousins, nieces and
   nephews. Graveside service by Padre Stan Millar in Brookside Cemetery, Friday, May
   26 at 2:30 p.m.
