Judith A. Harris
HARRIS, Judith A. - Of Davison, age 65, passed away Friday, April 13,
2007 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. A Funeral Service will be
held 3 PM Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison
Rd., Pastor Roger VanDonkelaar officiating. Cremation will follow the
service. Visitation will be 11 AM-3 PM Wednesday. Memorial contributions
may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County. Judith was born in
Grand Rapids, MI on May 23, 1941, daughter of Vesta and the late Kenneth
Lake. She volunteered and assisted with the residents of Braidwood for
years prior to becoming a resident there herself. Judith was a member of
the Bunko Club. She enjoyed baking and was a great mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother. Judith is survived by her daughters, Denise (Jerry)
Breen and Debbie (Jack) Dove; grandchildren, Kristy and Kourtney Breen;
great-granddaughter, Kailee McCormick; mother, Vesta Lake; brother, Ron
(Mary) Lake; sisters, Nancy Keller and Karen (Randy) Ghent, and several
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law,
Chuck Keller. Judith's family wishes to say a special thank you to the
staff of Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich.
