Raleigh, North Carolina News and Observer 27 November 2005 Judy Ann Lake Raleigh - Judy Ann Lake, 65, died Nov. 7 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC, after a long illness. Born Aug. 5, 1940, in Northampton, MA she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Dawicki) Lake. She lived in Northampton for many years before moving to Connecticut, then Boca Raton, FL, and finally settling in Raleigh. She worked for the Automobile Association of America as a travel agent until 2004, after which she spent her time traveling throughout the country visiting her children. Mrs Lake was an active member of the Church of Nativity in Raleigh, and was well known for her creativity with arts and crafts. She leaves two sons, Kevin Clewes of West Hartford, CT, and David Clewes of Boynton Beach, FL; a daughter, Laura Hebbard of Raleigh; four grandchildren. Memorial gifts may be made to the Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St Mary St, fourth floor, Raleigh, NC 27604. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 29th at noon in the Church of the Nativity in Raleigh.
