LAKE, Katherine Elizabeth - 86, East Walton, passed away on Sunday, August
26, 2007, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born August 7, 1921, in
Moose Brook, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothy (White)
Laffin. Katherine was a life member of East Walton Community Club and
will be sadly missed by her family and friends.  Katherine is survived
by her husband, Grant; her children, Joyce (Wally) Card, East Walton;
Norman (Sharry), Bramber; Murray, East Walton, and Linda (Tim) Lake,
East Walton; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Besides her
parents, Katherine was predeceased by her first husband, Blois Lake;
son, Herman; grandson, Michael; brothers, Medford, Walter, Lester,
Robert, and Norman. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by
request. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 29, at 2
p.m. in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Highway 215, Summerville, Rev. Ron
Frampton officiating with interment of ashes in Tenecape Cemetery,
Tenecape. Donations may be made to Tenecape Cemetery, c/o Mrs. Mabel
