Ken Lake
LAKE, Ken - A man of integrity, dedicated husband, loving father,
grandfather, great grandfather, loyal friend, with an infectious smile
and a gift to make people laugh! What a man! What a Dad! Thank you
Lord! Ken passed peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Sunday,
February 5, 2012 at the age of 85. Survived by daughter Sharon (Steve),
son Dave (Chrystal), grandchildren Robin (Billie), Rebecca, Jennifer, Bree
(Eric), Cathryn, Josh (Laura), Matthew (Agnieszka), great grandchildren,
Zoe, Kylah, Liam, Freya, Chase, Ethan, Rylee, Seren, Samuel and soul
mate Kathleen. Predeceased by parents Janet, Sydney Lake, brothers Syd,
Claire, Stan, Al and sister Olive.  "He will wipe every tear from their
eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All
these things are gone forever." Revelation 21:4 (NLT) Ken has left
us, but to a better place. He will meet his wife of 54 loving years,
Audrey. Dad, Gramps, Ken we love you and will always miss you. Thanks
for everything. Visitation will be held at TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 524
Davis Drive, Newmarket (905- 898-2100) on Thursday, February 9 from 7-
9 pm and on Friday, February 10 from 11- 12pm. Funeral Service to follow
in the funeral home chapel at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers donations to
the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Toronto General Hospital
