The Daily Journal - Vineland, NJ Saturday, July 19 & 21, 2014 Kenneth B. Robbins Jr. AGE: 84 - Millville Kenneth B. Robbins Jr., 84, of Millville, died on Friday after an extended illness at the Inspira Medical Center of Vineland, NJ. Born in Port Norris, N.J., he was a lifelong area resident. Ken enlisted in the United States Army in 1952, and served during the Korean War. He was wounded and received the Purple Heart, and received an Honorable Discharge in 1953. Ken then went to work for Wheaton Industries as a machine operator, and retired after 45 years of service. Ken was a life member of the Cedar Buck Gun Club, and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working in the yard, tending to his vegetable garden and flowers. Ken was a member of the American Legion Nabb-Leslie Post #82 in Millville. He is survived by: wife, Elaine at home; son, Ken Robbins (Tim), of Millville; daughter, Linda E. Tozer (Barry), of Millville; brothers, Garry, Lemuel and Jackie Robbins; sister, Dorothy. Ken was pre-deceased by his parents, Kenneth Sr. and Elizabeth Robbins; son, Wayne. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11am in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home of Millville. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:45 am until 11am. There will be an American Legion service starting at 9:45am. Burial will be held in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
