Kristin Elizabeth Lake, 46, of East Sandwich, MA, formerly of Gloucester, MA, wife of the late Stanley Charles, died on (Sept. 26, 1997). She was born in Hartford on Oct. 23, 1950, a daughter of Louise Lister Lake of Terryville and the late Irving Yale Lake. She was a graduate of Terryville High School and Emerson College where she received a BA Degree in Communications and Lesley College where she received a Master's Degree in Communications. Ms. Lake had spent much of her career in management positions at the UCONN Health Center in Farmington and Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester, MA. Most recently, she was a Preceptor in Communications at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Besides her mother, she is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Kevin L. and Sallie Lake of North Hampton, MA; two sisters and brothers-in- law, Caroll L. and Jerry A. Rafaniello of Bristol and Kathleen and Barclay Shaw of West Falmouth, MA; and nieces and nephews, Ben, Joe and Jessica Lake and Clay and Harrison Shaw. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
