Larry Wayne Lake
EAST DUBLIN

A memorial service for Larry Wayne Lake will be held at 2:30
P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel with
Rev. Tommy Veal officiating. Mr. Lake was born July 24, 1940 in Laurens
County. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late William Earl
and Helen Hardaway Lake and a sister, Anna Lake McNeely. He was a member
of Gethsemane United Methodist Church and was retired from the Laurens
County Board of Education as a teacher.  Mr. Lake passed away Thursday,
March 10, 2011 at Serenity Place. He is survived by a nephew, Robert
Allen McNeely; and a great-nephew, Nicholas McNeely. In lieu of flowers,
the family asks that contributions, in memory of Mr. Lake, be made to
the Hooked on Jesus Ministries, c/o Gethsemane United Methodist Church,
501 Soperton Avenue, East Dublin, Georgia 31027. Stanley Funeral Home
