20 July 1967 The People's Defender West Union OH Heart Attack Takes Mrs. Lake Mrs. Leon Lake, 59, of Stout, was dead on arrival at the Scioto Memorial hospital Wednesday evening where she was taken after suffering an attack of heart disease at her home. She was a member of the Sandy Springs Pentecostal church. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Leon, of Buena Vista, Thomas, of Little Creek, Ore., and Gerald, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Riffle, of Akron, and Mrs. Ruth Ann Hoppins, of Haven, Kan.; a brother, Russell Boone, of Ripley, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wilson Home for Funerals, Manchester with Rev. Prichard Pancake officiating and burial followed in the Manchester cemetery.
