Services Conducted for Leon Lake, Jr.

Leon Lake, Jr., 51, of Buena Vista, died Sunday at Veterans Hospital
at Chillicothe.

A native of Ripley and a Navy veteran of World War II, he was a mechanic
and owned and operated a garage in Buena Vista.

Surviving are his wife, Dollie Parker Lake; a son, Faron Lee, and a
daughter, Audrey, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Riffle
of Akron and Mrs. Ruth Ann Hopkins of Haven, Kan., and two brothers,
Thomas of Shoals, Ind. and Gerald of Haven.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev.
Thomas Stepp officiating and interment was in Manchester Cemetery.
