The Enterprise, Lexington Park, Maryland, April 21, 2004 Leona June Ryan 79, St. Leonard Leona June Ryan, 79, of St. Leonard and formerly of Piney Point died April 17, 2004, at her residence. Born Dec. 21, 1925, in Absecon, N.J. she was the daughter of the late Vincent Franklin and Ida Mary Brittain Lake. She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School class of 1943. Mrs. Ryan was a poet and songwriter. She was a member of the Ladies Bible Study Group at the Lexington Park Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, George R. Ryan of St. Leonard; daughters, Kathy Stanley of Mechanicsville and Debra Drallmeier of St. Leonard; a son, George R. Ryan Jr. of White Plains; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Doris Lord of Linwood, N. J., and Frances Streaker of Mechanicsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Mildred Cinelli, Vincent Lake, Calvin Lake and Leslie Lake. The family received friends April 20 at the Brinsfield Funeral Home in Leonardtown. A funeral service will be conducted today, April 21 at 2 p.m. at the Linwood Community Church in Linwood, N. J. Interment will follow in the Atlantic City Cemetery in Pleasantville, N. J.
