LEORA LAKE
  NOTI--The funeral will be Aug. 10 for Leora Beatrice Lake of Noti,
who died Aug. 5 of age related causes.  She was 93.
  Lake was born Dec. 3, 1910, in Fern Prarie, Wis., to Frank and Emma
Nintz Deedon.  She married Lester Lake in Eugene on March 20, 1928.
He died in 1999.
  Her family moved to Oregon in 1915, where they homesteaded in La Pine.
She settled in Noti 88 years ago.
  She was a homemaker and worked at her family's fish farm and sawmill.
  She was a member of the Noti Church of Christ, the Noti Garden Club and
the Home Extension Service.  She enjoyed gardening and needlework.
  Survivors include two sons, Gary and Frank, both of Noti; three
brothers, Bill Deedon of Noti and John and Bob Strunk, both of
Springfield; a sister Lena Warden of Halsey; six grand children; and
several great grandchildren.  A son, Leroy Lake, died previously.
  Tuesday's service will be at 2 p.m. at the Noti Church of Christ.
Burial will be at Sailor Cemetery in Noti.  Chapel of Memories Funeral
Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
  Memorial contributions can be made to the Noti Church of Christ.

La Pine, Oregon is located in eastern Oregon just south of Bend, Oregon.
Noti is located on Highway 126 about 25 miles to the west of the
Eugene/Springfield area.
