KEITY, Leora Perul (LAKE) A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, in Lents Baptist Church for Leora Perul Kelty, 84, who died Sept. 21, and her son, Chester "Chet" Kelty, 51, who died Aug. 21, of diabetes. Leora Lake was born Sept. 16, 1923, in Portland. She graduated from Sandy Union High School and was a secretary, most recently for the Multnomah County Justice Center. She also volunteered for the Autistic Children's Activity Program. In 1945, she married Eugene; he died in 1982. Chester Kelty was born July 3, 1956, in Spokane. He worked in marketing and sales for Econo Max in Gresham, and more recently for Lumbermens in Depoe Bay, where he moved five years ago. Their survivors include her daughters (and his sisters), Virginia Staley, Vivian White, Vickie Sherwood and Viola "Fay " Martinolich. Her survivors also include her sister, Edith Leithauser; her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren. His survivors also include his daughters, Melissa and Kimberly; and his two grandchildren.
