Published in the Press-Enterprise on 5/24/2004. Riverside CA Leta Mae Carlyle CARLYLE, LETA MAE Went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the age of 73. She passed away at Reche Canyon Rehabilitation. Leta was a homemaker. Leta is survived by her husband, James Carlyle of 54 years and together they resided in Riverside for 49 years. She is also survived by her daughter, Donna Lincecum of Riverside and Janet Hanson of Las Vegas. Leta was preceded in death by her son-in-law Edward Hanson, her parents, Laura and George Helt, her brothers, Bill and Burl Lakey, her sisters, Viola Powell, Myrtle Adkins and Bessie Bordwine. Leta had four grandchildren, Chris and Carol Lincecum and Billy and Eddie Hanson. She also had four great-grandchildren, Kristina, Austin, Dalton and Brysen Lincecum. She was the "favorite aunt" of many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her family to whom she was greatly devoted. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery at staging area #1. Officiating will be Reverend Roger Nabergall, hospital chaplain from Kaiser in Riverside. Fellowship following at home. Services will be directed by Preston & Simons Mortuary at 909-683-7410.
