Casper Star Tribune; Casper WY; 2003-3-24 Lillian Bertha Lake KEMMERER - Memorial Mass for Lillian Bertha Lake, 84, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kemmerer by Fr. John Murray. Interment will be in Kemmerer Cemetery. Cremation has taken place, under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home of Kemmerer Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27. She died March 24, 2003, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Wally Lawson, in Kemmerer, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Dec. 1, 1918, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Romus) Mansueto; graduated from Kemmerer High School; and attended beauty school. On July 29, 1950, she married Leslie Allen Lake in Evanston. For 23 years, she was a cook in the KHS lunchroom. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its Altar Society and loved to stay at home. In addition to the Lawsons, survivors include her son, Leslie Lake, and his wife of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and brother, Frank Mansueto of Pocatello, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and a brother.
