Linda Martens, 58

Linda Mae Martens, a resident of Nimrod, formerly of Motley, passed away
peacefully at the home of her daughter, Kim Benson southeast of Nimrod
Feb. 9, 2009, following a valiant battle against cancer.

Linda is survived by her children Troy (Ronni) Lake of White Bear Lake
and Kim (Byron) Beedle of Nimrod; 11 grandchildren; sister Candi Holmberg
of Motley and brother, Rodney (Kathy) Johnson of southern Minnesota;
as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her son Robert "Bobby"; her parents and
two brothers Billy and David.

A memorial service was held Thursday at the Oylen Christian and Missionary
Alliance Church in Oylen withthe Rev. Neal Malcore officiating.
