She was born October 26, 1939 at Soda Springs, the daughter of Ezra C. and Faye E. Harriman Lakey. She graduated from Soda Springs High School and business school. She married Max Butcher November 1957. They were later divorced. She married Glenn Johnson October 1966 at Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later divorced. She had lived at Soda Springs for 18 years, Preston, Idaho, Salt Lake City, Utah, Las Vegas, Nev., and San Diego, Calif. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts and walking on the beach. She especially enjoyed having her grandchildren and family visit and play on the beach. She also loved shopping in Mexico. She is survived by her companion, John Harrell of San Diego, Calif.; one son and one daughter and their spouses, Tracy and Pam Butcher, Las Vegas, Nev., and LaMonica and Steve Hummel, Snohomish, Wash.; also five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her parents, Ezra and Faye Lakey, Soda Springs, Idaho; two brothers and a sister, Dwight and Terry Lakey, Jerry and Connie Lakey and Julie and Mike Urban, all of Soda Springs. She was preceded in death by grandparents and a brother, Lonnie Lakey. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 22, at 11 a.m. at the Soda Springs Presbyterian Church. Friends may call on Wednesday evening, July at the Sims Funeral Home from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to leaving for the church. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
