Weston Democrat Weston WV 8 Oct 2014 Lonnie Lynn Lake, age 57, of French Creek, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born Feb. 9, 1957, in Weston: a son of the late Oley Curtis and Catherine Jean Lake Keener. He is survived by two daughters, Mariana Lake Brown of Buckhannon and Serenity Gates of Sacramento, Cali.; three granddaughters, Kaycie and Maddison Bobbins, both of Ravenswood and Mckenzie Laccone of Buckhannon; one grandson, Brayden West of Buckhannon; three brothers, Rick Curtis of Wash., Herbert Curtis of Weston and Thomas Lake of Kimballton, Iowa; and two sisters, Louise Curtis and Linda Marple, both of Weston. Lake was a mechanic and welder. He served in the U.S. Army. Friends were received Sunday, Oct. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, at the funeral home with the Rev. Rick Cutright officiating. Burial followed in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Weston.
