     WABASH - Lorene M. Lake, 94, AmeriCare Living Center, died at
5:23 p.m.  Sunday, June 9, 2002, at the nursing home.
     She was born on June 10, 1907, in Jennings County, to Pearl Jackson
and Ethel May (Byarm) Hite. She married Forrest E. Lake on March 10,
1981, in Wabash. He preceded her in death.
     Surviving is her guardian, Sue Ann Shelton, Fort Wayne.  Graveside
services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Lawns Cemetery.  There is
no visitation.  The Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel is in
