LAKE, Loretta Georgina "Tuddy" - 68, Bridgewater. It is with great
sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving wife, mother
and grandmother on December 27, 2008. Born in Halifax on July 12, 1940,
she was the daughter of the late Elsie Cordeau of Hubbards. She was a
mother of five, but over the years countless kids enjoyed her motherly
love. Her love of family was boundless and the joy she brought all the
people she touched so meaningful. Her other true joy in life besides
her family and friends was bingo. Over the years she worked bingo for
numerous organizations to help raise funds for her community. She
was well known throughout the community and many people called her
friend. She always made you feel welcomed and her home was your
home. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She leaves
behind her loving husband of 46 years, Peter; daughters, Leslie Robar,
Bridgewater; Debbie Savory (Clayton), Sable River; Julie Mills (Peter),
Shad Bay; sons, Joey (Allison), Moncton. N.B.; Kevin (Shannon),
Bridgewater; grandchildren, Michael, Morgan, Noah, Chloe, Olivia,
Ashley and stepgrandson, Steven. Visitation will be held Tuesday from
7-9 p.m., with prayers being offered at 8 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Home,
Bridgewater. A memorial mass will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday (December 31)
in St.  Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, Father J. Christensen
officiating.  Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the
IWK Health Centre Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or Lunenburg
