West Central Tribune; Wilmar MN; 2006-11-2 LITCHFIELD - Loretta Lorraine Johnson, 84, of Litchfield died Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of the Nazarene in Litchfield. Burial will be at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield and for one hour prior to the service at the church. She was born March 27, 1922, in Fergus Falls to Fred J. and Ida J. (Kuhl) Leek. She grew up in the Litchfield area and attended country school near Greenleaf. She married Ben L. Johnson on March 27, 1940, in Litchfield. She was a nurse's aide for many years in Hutchinson and Litchfield. She also held other jobs in the Litchfield area. She was a member of the Litchfield Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her children: Mary Ann Shane of Springfield, Mo., James (and Patricia) Johnson of Litchfield, Harold (and Doris) Johnson of Litchfield, Linda (and Larry) Braatz of Apple Valley, Wesley Johnson of Morton, Bruce (and Robin) Johnson of Lake Crystal; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Kenneth Sr. (and Marci) Leek of Beaver Creek, Ore., and Kathryn Parvi of Vancouver, Wash. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981; infant sons: John Martin and Timothy Paul; one great-granddaughter; two brothers; and four sisters.
