*Native Staten Islander enjoyed caring for family*

Native Staten Islander Lorraine E. Lake, 73, of Denville, N.J., a
homemaker, died Monday in Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's
Hospital, Dover, N.J., after a short illness.

Born Lorraine Neumann in Richmond, she moved to Indian Lake in Denville,
N.J., in 1958.

A graduate of St. Andrew's High School, she enjoyed taking care of
her family.

While living on Staten Island, Mrs. Lake was a parishioner of St.
Andrew's R.C. Church, Richmond.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Edward M.; her son, Gregory;
her daughter, Cheryl Simonis; a sister, Eleanor Simon, and three
grandchildren.

The arrangements, including private cremation, are being handled by the
Norman Dean Funeral Home, Denville.
