BATESBURG, S.C. - Mrs. Louise Bolen Bryan Lake (Lulu), 79, of Highpoint Road, Batesburg, died Monday February 24, 2003 at University Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Mrs. Lake was a native of Barnwell County and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a quilter. Survivors include her husband James M. Lake; one daughter, Carolyn Bradshaw, Lincolnton, N.C.; three sons, Raymond Bryan, Augusta, Ga., Jimmy Bryan, Covington, Va., Lee Bryan, Saluda; four sisters, Katherine Turner, Edgefield, Frances Maxwell, Perry, Ga., Marie Reynolds, Gaston, Patricia Blackwell, West Columbia; one step-son, James R. Lake, Chapin; one step-daughter, Mindy McManus, Chapin; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
