Louise Lorinne (Lake) Kusaba
       FORT BRIDGER - Services for Louise Lorinne (Lake) Kusaba, 76,
were conducted on June 4, 2003, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church
in Fort Bridger by the Rev. Daniel P. Mulholland.
       She died May 31, 2003, at St. Joseph's Recuperation Facility in
Salt Lake City.
       She was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Casper.  A Cub Scout den mother
for several years in Kemmerer, she was an active member of the LWML
at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed playing pool,
cards, and the piano; and crocheting things for her great-grandchildren.
       Survivors include two sons and their wives, Roy Takaharu Kusaba
of Arlington, Neb., and Arthur Steven Kusaba of Salt Lake City; three
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
       She was preceded in death by her husband, Takaharu Kusaba; mother,
Edna (VanAlstin) Lake; and three brothers, Gene Lake, Sherman Lake and
Ralph Lake.
       In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to
Kemmerer Senior Center and Shepherd of the Valley Church.
