Springfield Union News; Springfield MASS; 1999-6-16 Louise S. White AGAWAM - Louise S. (Lake) White, 87, of 55 Alfred Circle, died Monday at a local nursing home. She was a 20-year time clerk at the Cheney-Bigelow Wire Works and retired in 1976. Born and schooled in West Spring- field, she summered in Cavendish, Vt., and lived here since 1938. She attended the Agawam Congregational Church and was a former member of the Springfield Archery Association at Forest and Blunt parks and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Her husband, Lewis L. White, died in 1981. She leaves two daughters, Beverly Garvey of Springfield and Shirley Parker of York, Maine; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday morning at Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Proctorsville, Vt. Calling hours are this evening.
