Lucia Helen Lake

Lucia Helen Lake, of 411 Crosby Circle, died on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005,
at her home.  Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Lucious
and Jessie B. Garlington Dendy.

Survivors: Husband, Richard Lake; daughter, Sybil Johnson of Greenville;
sons, James, Arthur Lee, Derrick Benard, Frederick and Waymon D. Johnson,
all of Greenville; sisters, Lela Brewster and Lucius Ann Trabue, both of
Laurens, Pauline Aiken of Elton, Fla., Maude Matthews, Shirley Mitchell
and Pamela Sullivan, all of Wilmington, Del.; brothers, Jessie Lee and
Richard Dendy, Sr., both of Wilmington, Del.; thirty-two grandchildren;
twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.  Funeral
Service: Monday, 2 p.m. at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with
burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  The family is at the home.
