LUCIENNE "LUCY" J. BECK Somers, CT Lucienne "Lucy" J. Beck, a four-year
resident of Somers, CT formerly of Walden, NY, a homemaker, died Monday,
June 28, 2004 at the Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was 80. The
daughter of Jean-Baptiste and Maria Borrau Clemente, she was born
December 21, 1923 in Tarbes, France. She volunteered for many years
at the Montgomery Nursing Home and also volunteered for the Meals
on Wheels Program in Walden.  She was a former member of the Walden
Senior Citizens. She was the widow of the late Stephen Beck. Survivors
include five daughters: Marie Wood of Gardiner, Denise Lake of Walden,
Suzanne Wolff of Moorehaven, FL, Michelle Bosomworth of Somers, CT
and Yvette Fitzgerald of Exeter, NH; also 11 grandchildren, 6 great
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
a brother, Andre Clemente. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 1,
2004 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard
St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 1,
2004 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wallkill Valley
Cemetery, Walden. Memorial contributions may be made to Walden Meals on
