Lucile Lake
Former County employee

CANANDAIGUA:  Lucile Lake, 98, formerly of Canandaigua, died February
17, 1999 at the Ontario County Health Facility.

Mrs. Lake was born in Elmira, N.Y. on May 2, 1900 and was the daughter
of F. Guy and Minnie (Barnes) Baldwin.  She was a graduate of
Canandaigua Academy and the former Hanna's Business School.  She had
been a hairdresser at the Canandaigua Inn for many years and retired in
1971 after 14 years with the Ontario County Board of Elections.  She had
been a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.

The widow of Leo Lake, she is survived by her two cousins, Jean Gleason
and Ruth Hennessy, both of Geneva.

There will be no prior calling hours.  A memorial service will be held
at the Kennedy & Son Funeral Home at a date and time to be announced. 
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the First United Methodist
Church or the Canandaigua Emergency Squad.

Funeral Home, Inc., 15 Bristol St., Canandaigua, on Monday, May 17,
at 2 p.m.
