Lura Thomas Lake, 92, Waldorf
  Lura Thomas Lake, 92, of Waldorf died Dec. 3, 2004, at Genesis ElderCare
Center, La Plata.
  She was a homemaker.
  Born Dec. 3, 1912, in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Daniel
Washington Thomas and the late Malinda Adelia Jones Thomas.
  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband,
Donald Wright Lake; and brother, F. C. Thomas, Sr.
  Mrs. Thomas is survived by her son, Neill L. and his wife, Joebi Thomas,
of Waldorf; granddaughters, Sue-Ellen Brown, Michelle Scarborough and
Naci J. Plume; and eight great-grandchildren.
  A memorial service was held Dec. 6 at Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf.
Deacon Johnny Barnes officiated.  Burial was private.
