Funeral services for Lydia Lakey Anderson, 85, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am
Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment
at Townsend Cemetery in Broaddus. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Monday
at the funeral home. Mrs. Anderson died August 24, 2008 at Christus St.
Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Shelbyville, Lydia was a
longtime Silsbee resident. She was a housewife. Survivors include children
Jimmie Woolever of Marlow, Oklahoma, Laiel Anderson of Pineland, Perry
Anderson of Fred, Danny Anderson and Gwenn Thompson both of Silsbee,
Jerry Anderson of Ratliff City, Oklahoma, Sally Edwards of Pawnee,
Oklahoma and Edward Virgil Anderson of Buna; brother G. V. Lakey of
Newton; sister Gladys Oliver of Gibbons, Nebraska; thirty grandchildren,
fifty great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews.
