Mabel H Lake, 89, formerly of 508 Church St., Danville, died Tuesday at
the Geisinger Medical Center. She had been a patient there since Sept.  3.

For the past four years she was a resident of the Gold Star Nursing Home.

Born Dec. 17, 1893, in Catawissa Township, she was a daughter of John R.
and Nettie Campbell Neyhard. She was a member of the Pine Street Lutheran
Church, Danville and the Auxiliary to the American Legion Post No. 40,
Danville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John O Lake, in 1980.

Surviving are two sisters, Mary Baker and Edith Barton both of Bloomsburg
and eight brothers: Ernest Neyhard, Almedia, Samuel Neyhard, Bloomsburg,
Ralph, Carl and Donald Neyhard, all of Bloomsburg R.D.5 and Skiles
Neyhard, Forty Fort.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Rishel Funeral Home with
Rev. Ray E. Jones, her pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Odd
Fellows cemetery, Danville.
