Reno Gazette Journal; Reno NV; 2002-3-22 Margaret "Louise" Arnoldsen passed away March 19, 2002 in Reno, Nevada at age 82. Louise was born December 30, 1919 in Evanston, Wyoming to George and Bertha Lake, moving at age 2 to Ely, Nevada with her family. Louise attended schools in Ely. She married Hans Edward "Ed" Arnoldsen in 1937. They had two children, Kayleen A. Caselli and James Edward Arnoldsen. Louise worked many years at Steptoe Drug Store in Ely. After moving to Reno in 1977 and working at Harrah's Gift Shop, she retired in 1982. Louise is survived by her daughter, Kayleen and husband, Jim Caselli and son, Jim and wife, JoAnn Lani; sister, Joyce and husband, Koz Anderson; sister in law, Peg Lake and brother in law, George Jenkins; grandchildren, Kendra Caselli, John Caselli, Tamra and husband, Tom Shearer, Kenneth and wife, Cathy Caselli and Alisa and husband, Brian Armon; great grandchildren, Johnell, Matthew, Cameron, Krista, Kyle, Kaylyn, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Fred Lake; sister, Blanche and husband, Bob Zadow; sister, Dorothy Jenkins; and grandson, Aaron Edward Arnoldsen. Louise was an avid gardener and loved birds and her pets. Her greatest joy in life was loving, caring for and helping her family, friends, neighbors and everyone she met. She loved life and to laugh. At her request, no services will be held. A private family memorial is to be held at a later date.
