LAKE (Fowler), Margaret Gladys - 88, Truro, passed away May 26,
2009. Born in Woodside, she was a daughter of the late James Patrick
and Mary Margaret (Rose) Fowler. The love of her life was her children
and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and the
outdoors. Margaret was loved by all the caregivers in Wynn Park where
she had spent her later days. She is survived by daughters, Dorothy
Tibbo, Porters Lake; Evelyn (Sidney) Lake, Goshen; Josephine (David)
Richards, Dartmouth; Carol (John) Carroll, Elmsdale; Margaret (David)
Melvin, Deborah (Steven) Legere, both of Truro; sons, Patrick, Truro;
David (Karen), Kingston, Ont.; Andrew (Angela), Wards Brook; sister, Rita
Moore, Dartmouth; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ira Vaughan; her second
husband, James William Lake; son, Wayne Lake and a child in infancy; five
sisters and five brothers. No visitation or service by request. A private
family committal service in Holy Trinity Church, Fox River, will be held
at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity
