Salt Lake City UT; Salt Lake Tribune; 1999-2-26 Margaret Lake Fullmer Margaret Lake Fullmer, 71, died peacefully at home on Wed. February 24, 1999, from the effects of melanoma cancer. Marg was born January 7, 1928, in Salt Lake City to John Court and Frances Ball Lake. Marg received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education from the University of Utah. She was a school teacher and guidance counselor for the Salt Lake School District, spending the majority of her career at South High School. She retired in 1988 when the school was closed. Among her many accomplishments, Marg was awarded the Counselor of the Year in 1978-79 by Utah Stake Counselors Association and was recognized as South High's Greatest Counselor by her peers. Marg's wisdom and generosity touched the lives of countless young people. She married Nathan J. Fullmer on June 14, 1951; later divorced Survived by her foster son, Denver Brunsman, Princeton, New Jersey; her niece, nephews and loving friends. Preceded in death by brothers, John B. Lake and Court B. Lake, and sister, Frances L. Pelton. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at 2 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave and N Street. Visitation at 1 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to A.r.t.s. Inc.
