LAKE, Margaret Mary - 91, Halifax, died March 18, 1999, in Northwood Centre.
Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late James and Alice (Walsh) Smith.
She was a dedicated member of the CWL, a member of The Daughters of Isabella, a
member of St. Mary's lawn bowling and a member of Canadian Martyrs Church. She
is survived by daughter, Joy (Mrs. Ronald Hanlon), Halifax; sister, Lillian
MacPherson; Sackville, grandchildren, James and wife Anne Hanlon; Halifax,
Ronald and wife Greta Hanlon, Waterloo, Ont.; great-grandchildren, Chris,
Heather, Greg, Lee, Katie, Madeline and Sean. Predeceased by husband, James;
sister, Genevieve; brothers, James, Alfred, Raymond, and a granddaughter in
infancy. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Saturday, March 20, and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March
21, in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax. Funeral Mass will be
held Monday, March 22, at 10 a.m. in Canadian Martyrs Church, Rev. Joseph Newman
officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of
flowers, donations to Northwood Centre or charity of choice.

2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 21, in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St.,
Halifax. Funeral mass will be held Monday, March 22, 1999 at 10 a.m. in Canadian
Martyrs Church, Father Joseph Newman officiating. Burial in the Gate of Heaven
Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to
Northwood Center or a charity of choice.
