Star News; Wilmington SC; 2008-8-19 Helen Margaret A. Lake Marge Lake entered the life eternal on Sunday, August, 17, after a brief illness. She was born in Elgin, Illinois, and was a graduate of National College of Education. As an educator, she taught elementary students in Beloit, WI, Elgin, IL, and for twenty-five years in Joliet, IL. Retiring in 1990, she moved with her husband to Plantation Village in 2000. She served as President of the Resident Council, and at the time of death was a member of the Village Board of Directors. Marge is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, The Rev. Levin Lake; and by her children, Michael, Peter and Peggi and their spouses, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and her sister, Helen. Marge Lake was greatly loved by all who knew her, and will be sorely missed. "Rest eternal grant her, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her. May she rest in Peace." A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at St. Andrew's On-the-Sound Episcopal Church by The Rev. Richard G. Elliot. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
