Margie Hardesty (1924 - 2011)
Margie, age 87, of Middletown, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 in Garden
Manor Retirement Village. She was born October 21, 1924 in Duncan,
Kentucky, the daughter of Thomas and Lima (Bell) Lake. She married Jim
Hardesty in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was a member
of Northern Hills Bible Chapel, Finneytown, Ohio. She is survived by
her children, Jackie Rodefeld and husband, Norbert of Hamilton, James
Hardesty, Jr. of Goshen, Ohio and Barbara Major and husband, Bill of
Fairfield; four brothers, three sisters and six grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Funeral
services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at
Northern Hills Bible Chapel, 1155 West Galbraith Road, Finneytown with
Evan Davis officiating. Visitation will be at the church, Wednesday from
