Harmon Marion, age 100, born October 4, 2006, [newspaper error] in Seattle, Washington, passed away January 6, 2007, in Auburn, Washington. Marion graduated from Tolt High School in 1924 and continued her education at Bellingham Normal School. Marion's teaching career started in Everson, Washington. She retired in 1970, after teaching 22 years at Madison School in Everett. She was a past Worthy Matron of Columbia Chapter #33 of the Eastern Star. In 1987 she moved to Kent, Washington to be near her family. Marion was a very loving and caring person to her family and friends at Auburn Meadows Senion Community, where she resided the last few days. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anna (Taylor) Lake; and her brother, Harold. Survivors included daughter, Virginia (John) Stewart, Stewart, Maple Valley, Washington; grandson, John Steward, Maple Valley; Granddaughter, Julie Bowden, Renton Washington; and great-grandson, Cameron Stewart, Auburn Washington. At her request, there will be no services. Friends and family will remember her in quiet moments.
