THEUERKAUF, Marion Avis - February 5, 1907-July 19, 2005 (98). Born in
Sydney, she was the daughter of the late William and Maude (Bezanson)
Lake. A lifelong resident of Sydney, she moved to Dartmouth in 1990. She
was a Past Regent and Life Member of I.O.D.E., Louisbourg Chapter
in Sydney; 50 year member of City of Sydney Hospital Auxiliary;
long-time member of United Baptist Church, Sydney; involved in
the W.M.S. and Gift Guild, and presently a member of First Baptist
Church, Dartmouth. She is survived by son, William, Belleville, Ont.;
daughters, June (Ron) Coldwell, Bathurst, N.B.; Beryl (Tom) Ritchie,
Dartmouth; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was
predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Frederick; brothers, Lorne
and Roy; daughter-in-law, Jean Theuerkauf. Funeral service Saturday
at 2 p.m. in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Portland Street, Dartmouth,
Rev. Martin Zwicker officiating. Burial to follow in Dartmouth Memorial
Gardens. Family flowers only. Memorial donations to a charity of
