HICKMAN, Marjorie Alene - age 65, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, 
November 29, 2000 at Baptist Hospital.  A member of the Marble Dale Church 
of God.  Preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hickman; father, 
Charles Homer Leek; brother, Jack B. Leek; sister, Loretta 
Nelson.  Survivors include:  daughters Toby and husband, Eddie Cunningham, 
and Karen Hughes; mother, Viola "Polly" Leek; grandchildren, David and 
wife, Anderia Tipton, Lora Tipton, Paul, Jacob, and Amy Cunningham; great 
granddaughter, Kyla Tipton; brother, Doug Leek; sisters, Carroll Leek and 
JoAnn Houser.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the 
nurses on the 8th floor of Baptist Hospital.  Funeral services will be held 
Saturday, December 2, 2000 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McCarty Mortuary with 
Rev. Willis A. Pendergrass officiating.  Interment services will be in the 
Asbury Cemetery.  The Hickman family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 
p.m. McCarty Mortuary 4004 Holston Dr. in charge.
