Marshall Lake, Sr.

Marshall Wayne Lake Sr., 58, of Front Royal, died on Thursday, Oct. 15,
1998.

He was born Nov. 14, 1939 in Winchester and was a son of the late Goldie
May Lake.

Mr. Marshal was the owner of M. Lake Paving Company of Front Royal.

On June 6, 1959, he married the former Rosie May Soules, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Goldie May lake
Calvin and Tina Marie Lake, both of Front Royal; one son, Marshall Wayne
Lake Jr. of Front Royal; two brothers, John and Herbert Lake, both of
Front Royal; three sisters, Ann Plaugher and Nina Fake, both of
Strasburg, and Joyce Carper of Front Royal; and six grandchildren.

A funeral service was conducted on Sunday, Oct. 18, at the Maddox
Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Jerry Young.  Burial was in the
Prospect Hill Cemetery.
