Mrs. Martha Lake, wife of Frank Lake of Ringoes, died on Friday morning
from poison by Paris green. Mrs. Lake swallowed the poison on Sunday of
last week but a physician was not called until Tuesday when she could
give no reason for the act. Mrs. Lake was 43 years old, and besides a
husband, is survived by four children. The funeral was held on Monday
with interment at Hopewell.

Friday morning would be October 30, 1903. Funeral was Monday November
2, 1903.
