EVANS, Mary - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick`s Mercy Home
on Tuesday, May 30, 2000, Mary Evans of Thorburn Road, aged 78
years. Predeceased by her husband Leonard; daughter Dale-Ann; sisters:
Gertrude, Rita and Francis; brothers: Fred and Norman. Leaving to
mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters: Esther Oliver (Robert),
Deborah Ozon (special friend Gerry) and Rosalie Wadland (Danny); sons:
Norman (Annie), Wayne (Juanita), Leonard (Kit), David (Jose), Melvin
(special friend Alice), Keith (Debbie), Rodger (Joan), Roy, Tommy
(Pam) and Joe (Wendy); 31 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren;
brother Joe Lake; sisters: Hesther McCarthy (Melvin) and Sadie Blunden;
nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, especially family friend
Shirley Tucker and caregiver Madonna. Resting at Carnell`s Funeral Home,
329 Freshwater Road on Thursday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from
10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral Service to take place on Friday, June 2,
2000 at 2:00 p.m. from St James United Church with interment to follow
in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honor. Flowers gratefully accepted
or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one`s choice.
