The Beacon News; Aurora IL; 2003-11-6 Mary (Louise) Lake Mary (Louise) Lake, 58, of Aurora passed away Monday, November 3, 2003 at Rush Copley Hospital. She was born on May 17, 1945 in Jackson, Tennessee. Louise accepted Christ at a very young age at Medon CME Church in Jackson, TN, she moved to Aurora where she joined Main Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dezo McGill. Then later moved her membership to Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church in 1998 under the leadership of Pastor John Nabors where she was a faithful member until her health failed her. She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Barbara (Charles) Harden, Kecia Lake, Nikki Lake, Brandi Lake; six grandchildren, Marquies Harden, Jessica Harden, Keosha Reynolds, Kadijha Lake, Ashley Lake, Ashea Lake; four sisters, Josephine Watt, Daisy (Rev. George) Harris, Linda Hughes, Judy Lake; three brothers, James Lake, Wayne Lake, Kenneth (Annie) Lake; two special brothers, Charlie Williamson and Michael Lake; two special sisters, Faye (Hayward) Greene and Kaye Williamson; a special brother-in-law, Rev. George Harris; a special friend, Maude McKinney; one godchild, Rachel Jones; two special Guardians, Pastor John Nabors and Sister Nabors; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Daisy Lake; four brothers, Joseph, Robert, Perry, Harvey Lake; one sister, Anna Mae Lake; one grandchild, Mary Aquenttea Lake; and her godmother, Mother Frankie Curry. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2003 at the Greater Love Baptist Church. Pastor John Nabors will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery.
