Seymour Tribune; Seymour IN; 2003-1-22 Mary Lou Kirkham Nov. 14, 1949 - Jan. 18, 2003 Mary Lou Kirkham, 54, Seymour, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at Taylorsville. Kirkham was a teacher's aide for 13 years at Muscatatuck State Developmental Center. She was a 1969 graduate of Henryville High School and a member of Vernon Baptist Church. Born Nov. 14, 1949, she was a daughter of Lillard Lakins and Hazel Mae Lakins, who preceded her in death, and adoptive parents, Harold B. Wooldridge and Lois Frances Wooldridge Terrell, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, James Eric Kirkham, North Vernon; three daughters, Lois Jean Kirkham, Crothersville, Dixie Filek, North Vernon, and Tina Miller, Dillsboro; two brothers, Steve Lakins, Louisville, and Michael Wooldridge, Scottsburg; two sisters, Karen Isom, Charlestown, and Nancy Morrow, Greensburg; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Lakins. The Rev. Jon Beck will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon, with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
