Williamsport Sun-Gazette 2/27/2016 Page A-7 Williamsport, PA Mary Rose Robbins Mary Rose Robbins 88 of Catuala, GA. and formerly of Muncy, died Wednesday Feb. 24, 2016. Born Aug. 5, 1927 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Bessie (Dickie) Benchino. Mary was a veteran of World War II, serving honorably in the U.S. Army, where she was a recipient of the American Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct medal and the WWII victory Medal. She loved spending her days, raising and caring for her family. Mary enjoyed baking, gardening, bird watching and reading. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Christina Showers, of Selinsgrove, Lorena and Jesse Woodward, of Catuala, Ga. and Linda and Billy Morgan, of Prattville, Ala.; two sons, Wayne Robbins, of Muncy and Jason Robbins of Valley, Ala.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Regina Fry; and two sisters, Virginia and Bertha. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grenoble's, 121 S.
